Woman:
My phone company called me last week. They wanted the names and
numbers of my friends and family. I couldn't believe the intrusion until I got a call the
next day. My phone company wanted to know what I was making for dinner. They suggested I
soak the meat for an extra ten minutes before cooking. An hour later my phone company
called back. They told me to check the oven, the roast was burning. They also reminded me
to pick up the kids at baseball practice. Two days later, I get another call. My phone
company wants to know if I had any boils lanced within the past six months. They called on
Tuesday and said not to worry, it's just a yeast infection. Though they suggested I get
the mole on my upper right thigh removed. It might cause complications later. Today, I
received another call from my phone company. They wanted to know why I poison every
relationship I'm in? Craig's a wonderful guy. Why did I treat him like dirt?
So I called my therapist. I told him its just not worth it. He's not
giving me the kind of care and support my phone company is.
